Overview: If an Entrepreneur is only as good as a manager then it is not enough, if a manager is a good leader then it is great for him and his organization, if an Entrepreneur is anything less than a great leader then it is not a great sign. The analogy between a manager and an Entrepreneur has been given because one thing that makes both of them more effective is leadership, a manager can still do without leadership but an entrepreneur can’t really travel a long journey without the right leadership quality.

Everyone looks upto a leader and this faith does not come by position but it is only a by product of your actions, commitment and performance. As an effective leader, you know what others are doing as you delegate the tasks and you also know the problems which they are or they will face. You cannot leave your team to find solutions, you have to be with them constantly in order to be accepted as a leader. Your communication with your own team should be so clear and logical that no time is wasted in decoding the message. You will need to align your teams thought with your business goal and this will not happen unless you know, who your people are, how they think, how can you get the best out of them, how to motivate everyone to perform their best, including yourself.
We often focus on the results, which is good but not sufficient because when you focus on your people first and then the result, you will always know in advance, what results are coming. Aligning your business goals to the professional goals of your team and empowering them in terms of right resources should never be neglected. When every individual performs, the team performs, when the team performs, the organization performs and then you can say that the leader has performed.
